About Us
Caaron Wood Werks started twenty-five years ago as a woodworking hobby in Villa Park, Illinois. We collected used wine corks from
family, friends, restaurants, wineries and wine shops to re-purpose them in some of our pieces.
What started out to be making our
wine-themed pieces as gifts for family and friends turned into a more serious endeavor requiring more production as demand and interest
increased. The addition of stonework has brought new interest to our "werks".
Our desire is to broaden the current
interest we enjoy in the craft show-based community by reaching out to potential customers and friends we haven't met yet
through the internet.
We remain a small family-run cottage business from our modest, humble workshop cranking out our creations
to fill your orders.
Its all about enjoying what you do that makes life more fulfilling. We are a small group taking pride in
what we are doing.
We buy from American suppliers who sell us American made or harvested materials, unless exotic wood species
are requested. We buy recycled and environmentally safe products for our creations whenever possible.
Each piece is hand-made
and finished, no two are exactly alike. There is no pressure to meet deadlines, so each piece gets the attention it deserves before
it goes out the door.
