Flatwork- Wine Cork Trivets

All pieces shown are made with American red oak frames, stained in a provincial oak color, hardboard base and covered with two or more coats of an environmentally safe water-based satin clear finish. The bottoms have felt pads to protect other surfaces. Additional wood species and stain colors are available that may impact pricing. Wall Art or Table Trivet or both?

Caaron Wood Werks prefers American red or white oak for our trivets. It's characteristic bold grain and natural hardness will stand up to normal everyday use, but we will build with any wood of your choice. We fill the frames with re-purposed (used) corks packed tightly to minimize the gaps and try to not have two of the same corks in one piece. To do so, some sizing of the corks is done to help insure uniformity. Hang these pieces on a wall, use them for table protection then return them to their wall position when not in use.

If you have your own corks and want just the frames, we can price them unfilled. No adhesive is furnished. Volume pricing is available. Contact us for all current pricing.
